Sunsoar are off to Kossen in Austria for a week of Fly-Sliding from 1-8 March. Why don't you join them?

The prime motive is to fly or slide. We will try to do whichever is most appropriate for the day, and sometimes we may do both! We will decide each morning what the majority of the group wants to do and the bus will go with that decision. However, because we are situated close to the lift infrastructure, individuals can do their own thing if preferred. No formal tuition is offered but your guides are experienced pilots and skiers/boarders so coaching in each discipline is available. We will guide you to the best skiing/flying for the day - the rest is up to you!

Our Fly/Ski trips have proven popular as a winter getaway with the best of both worlds; we fly or we ski and we can almost always do one of them!

This year we are going to Austria. We will be staying in the beautiful Tyrolean resort of Kossen, in a chalet literally 150mtrs from the Ski lifts and the landing field. This area is renowned for good skiing and flying, with over 60 take off sites in the area, so weather permitting we will be doing a lot of both. Kössen is situated in a valley basin encircled by the majestic Kaiser Mountains and the soft ridges of the Kitzbühel Alps.

The town of Kossen is very traditional, with beautiful old buildings in the village centre creating a unique atmosphere. With plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from - for the essential apres ski/fly.

You will have one of the Sunsoar team to guide and advise you and we will be accompanied by an experienced flying guide from Skywalk Paragliders who has expert knowledge of the local area and all of the flying sites available.

During the week we will also make a visit to the Skywalk HQ only 15mins away, for a guided tour and insight into cutting edge paraglider design.
