Skywalk UK Comp Success PDF Print E-mail

Northern Paragliding & Team Skywalk UK wish to congratulate John Murphy and Kirsty Cameron on their recent success in the UK competition circuit.

What a year it has been for these two, John said at the start of the year that his intention was to win the DHV1-2 class of the BP Cup on a Chili , hats off to him for a superb performance at 1st DHV1-2 and 4th overall . It just shows that you don't always need the hottest all out racing glider to do well in the Cup, confidence and experience prevail.

Kirsty was competing against the big guns in the Open Championships, and her first season on the new Poison2 proved exceedingly successful with a solid performance - now crowned British Female Champion 2008 - this is just the beginning of Kirsty's comp career, her trophy cabinet is starting to fill, just watch this space for the future.
