As part of our marketing and publicity campaign for Skywalk, we have formed UK Team Skywalk. Here is a brief introduction to the team...

When we were selecting our team, we didnt necessarily want the best competition pilots. We were looking for pilots who love their Skywalk gliders and improve their flying and achieve their goals through flying them. We want pilots who are seen, known and liked on the hill and are happy to spread the Skywalk word. Tim Bridle 

Tim Bridle - Scotland - Nationals and Open Championships pilot. Never outclimbed on his Skywalk Poison at the British and Nordic opens in Piedrahita this year, watch out for him at the next round of the BPC. Tim was the first Pilot in the UK to fly Skywalk, he trains during the Winter months in India, and can often be found on the winners podium. He'll be on the all new Poison2 in the Autumn.

Pete Logan 

Pete Logan - Dales Club - Secretary of the Dales club and helps run the BPC, ambitious XC pilot,  watch out for him in the XC league, he'll be on the Dales every flyable day this year and at the 3 peaks challenge. Pete likes climbing, running and swinging his kids round til they're sick!

Kirsty Cameron

Kirsty Cameron - Thames Valley Club - Nationals and BPC Pilot. She was 1st female and 2nd DHV1-2 at the Chabre open last year. Now upgraded to a Cayenne2 from her trusty airwave sport 2 and going places, one of the best female pilots in the UK at the moment. Kirsty is aiming to fly to the coast from Combe Gibbet and also 100kms in the UK this year. 

Neil Brennan-Wright

Neil Brennan-Wright - Southern Club Membership Secretary, Club Coach and Editor of 'Windsock' local mag, and all round nice chap. He's been flying for 5 years. He competed at Laragne this year and enjoys adventure flying in Morocco. He's out on the hill with his Skywalk Chili on most flyable days improving his skills.

James Goldsborough

James Goldsborough - Dales Club - flying since 1988, mile muncher, watch out for James at the BPC and the championships at the Mynd on his Cayenne2. Top XC league contender. He likes light winds, strong thermals and pies and cakes!

At Skywalk UK we wish them every success in achieving their flying goals this season on their new gliders. Watch out for them on take off and in the goal field!
